On June 27, JetBlue Airways made its first direct flight between the International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Juan Santamaria. To celebrate this new route of the airline, flights from Fort Lauderdale are discounted from $135 each way for travel between September 6 and December 13, 2013.
The new route from Fort Lauderdale that has been inaugurate allows to increase the availability of seats from the U.S. to the Juan Santamaria International Airport, strengthening the supply air into our country from the state of Florida, which is in third place in terms of client concentration considered better prospects for Costa Rica, says Allan Fllores, Minister of Tourism of Costa Rica. This new service is a direct result of our focus to grow our presence in Fort Lauderdale and stay relevant, as well as continue to add flights to meet the needs of travelers.
