Wonderful, white-sanded beaches with pristine, warm water are waiting for you. Place that are perfect to relax or live the Costa Rica adventure travel.
Curu is located 40 minutes from Montezuma, the popular town and beach. Few visitors are allowed per tour, one that crosses the tropical jungle right next to the ocean, with rich wildlife, perfect for Costa Rica sightseeing. The refuge is private property, and that explains the restrictions to enter the premises. It is jealously guarded by the owners estate, with the support of the Costarican government. This exclusivity has the reward of being able to closely interact with the animals and other species living in the reserve.
17 trails will take you across the reserve, on a tour that will take a few hours to complete. During the hiking tour, we appreciated the dry and rain tropical forests, mangrove swamps and other ecosystems that exist in the reserve. Some of the animals that you will see at Curu are the white tail deer, white faced monkeys, and spider monkeys.
If you look for other activities that take place at Curu, then you can try snorkeling, scuba diving and kayak in the Tortuga Island, which is very close to Curu.
