Tamarindo Mangrove & Estuary

Tamarindo Wildlife Refuge protects a large estuary, mangrove forest and tropical dry forest in an area covering almost 500 hectares.

On this half day tour a small and slight boat takes you to the narrow canals observing on both sides at a time. You will be able to observe closely rare and abundant wild life, including dozens of bird species and two species of monkeys while learning a lot about the unique ecosystem of the mangrove forest.
