Hotel facilities: swimming pool, game room, and library. Ideal for honeymoons. The extraordinary hillside infinity swimming pool provides luxuriant bathing and is surrounded by tropical gardens, secluded decks and shaded verandas where guests can sunbathe and enjoy the magnificent vistas. The spring fed pool features chemical free water and a 12-foot cascading waterfall. The adjacent open-air game room / lounge, large Hot-tub/Jacuzzi and the library offer recreation and relaxation. Finca Rosa Blanca?s landscaping is an intrinsic part of the unique architectural experience. The inn has over 300 fruit trees, including Orange, Lemon, Tangerine, Grapefruit, ?Caimito?, Avocado, Macadamia, ?Jocote?, Lychee, ?Cas?, ?Guanabana?, Guava, Cashew and many others. Thousands of native and tropical plants have been cultivated on the 8 acres of the lush volcanic terrain. Many species of rare and colorful birds and butterflies are attracted to these extraordinary gardens. The 300 year old ?Higueron? trees and the other numerous and statuesque hardwoods, tower above the lush and colorful painted landscape that offer trails and meditative areas in which the guest can truly feel ?at one with nature?. Each sunny morning you will wake to an exquisite breakfast, replete with freshly brewed organic coffee grown in our plantation and succulent mango, papaya, pineapple and bananas from the Inn?s own organic orchards. The Inn is renowned for its fine cuisine, prepared with care and creativity from the bounty of its fruit orchards and organic greenhouse vegetable and herb garden. Chef Pedro Alas welcomes the curious gourmand into his kitchen to share the secrets and techniques of nouvelle Costa Rican Cuisine. ?About 4,000 feet above sea level, on nine acres nestled amid papaya, mango and coffee trees, this "country inn," Finca Rosa Blanca, is only a 15-minute drive from the airport on good roads, but far enough from San Jos? so that at night the city twinkles in the valley below.? Beth Brombert, The New York Times Situated 1300 meters above sea level, in the Central Valley, surrounded by 'Higuerones' (ficus) and an exotic flora, is 15 minutes from the Juan Santamar?a International Airport. The Inn is only 15 minutes from the San Jos? International Airport. With its own luxuriously appointed van, the Inn will arrange transportation to and from the airport, or any other destination within the Central Valley.
