Cala Luna Hotel

Located on the Northwestern shoreline of Costa Rica, Tamarindo is a charming fishing town of 1,000 inhabitants. The picturesque region opens a doorway to the romance and serenity of flat lands, green mountains and rich foliage. General Description

Cala Luna is Located two minutes from Playa Langosta and 15 minutes from Tamarindo Beach. The hotel shows fine wood work, palm ceilings and exotic foliages. It consists of 20 deluxe rooms, 15 two-bedroom villas and three three-bedroom villas, all of them with air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, coffee maker, mini bar, safety box, bathroom with hair dryer. The hotel offers a gourmet restaurant, bar, swimming pool, internet access and parking area.

How to get there

The Route to Tamarindo Nestled in this haven amidst vibrant bougainvillea and graceful palms, Cala Luna is a short distance from the brilliant white-sand beaches or a couple of minutes from the luxurious foliage of the jungles. With a domestic airport 10 minutes from the hotel and an international airport 1 hour away - Liberia Airport (LIR), Tamarindo is easily accessible although still unscathed by modernization. The domestic airport in Tamarindo (TNO), just 10 minutes from Cala Luna, features a paved landing strip amidst picturesque farm fields. An unpaved dirt road prohibits mainstream tourists from this clandestine treasure. However, the one who travels down this undefiled path are richly rewarded.

Directions
From Costa Rica's main airport, San Jose (SJO), take a 45-minute flight via SANSA www.flysansa.com or NatureAir www.natureair.com to Tamarindo's domestic airport (TNO). Prior to your arrival, please confirm your reservations and inform us of your travel arrangements to ensure a undisturbed trip. Transfers to the hotel can be arranged on request.
