Due to the large amount of rainfall in the area,
we do not offer fishing packages in that fashion,
arrangements for fishing are done once at
the hotel, where the resident manager and
the fishing guide work out the details with
the client who desires to go fishing.
This
additional feature has a cost of $57.00 an
hour, minimum of two hours, for two persons,
including the boat, fishing guide and equipment.
The species in the area for fresh water are
mainly: snook in different sizes, sun fish,
mojarra ( this is like a small tarpoon ) and
a fish we call rainbow-bass. If the river
mouth is not so high, the boat can get out
to the ocean and fish for tarpoon, mackarel,
king fish ( also in the mackarel family ),
jacks and small tuna.
Again, due to the conditions of the river
mouth and high seas, the fishing is offered
on an hourly basis. Specially from 5:00 am
to 9:00 am or 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
