Day 01:
Arrival transfer from the international airport to hotel in San Jose . Overnight at Parque del Lago hotel
Day 02:
Breakfast. Transfer to take local flight to Palmar Sur. Flight San Jose to Palmar Sur and transfer to Casa Corcovado . 45 minutes air flight to Palmar Sur, 30 minutes land transfer from Palmar Sur to La Hacienda the reception center in Sierpe, 90 minutes boat trip down the Sierpe River viewing mangrove wetlands. Arrive at Casa Corcovado , complementary cocktail before lunch. Afternoon is free to explore the nature trails and the beach. Overnight at Casa Corcovado (lunch and dinner included).
Day 03:
Full - day excursion to Corcovado National Park , with picnic lunch and nature guide. Overnight at Casa Corcovado (all meals included).
Day 04:
Full - day excursion to Caño Island , with picnic lunch, snorkelling gear and nature guide. Overnight at Casa Corcovado (all meals included).
Day 05:
Bird watching tour in the morning and hiking in the Casa Corcovado trails. Overnight at Casa Corcovado . (all meals included).
Day 06:
Hearty breakfast Return up the river to La Hacienda in the town of Sierpe . Guests will be met and transferred to the airport for the return flight to San Jose . Flight Palmar Sur to San Jose . Private transfer to Monteverde. Overnight at Trapp Family Lodge.
Day 07:
Breakfast. Private am birding tour in the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. This is a biological reserve dedicated to the conservation of the flora and fauna which exists in this complex ecosystem. The reserve consists of 10,000 hectares and serves as an important link in the growing network of protected areas in the country. Night at Trapp Family Lodge.
Day 08:
Breakfast. Free day to take optional tour. Overnight at Trapp Family Lodge
Day 09:
Breakfast. Private transfer to the "Rincon de la Vieja" Volcano area. Overnight at Buena Vista Lodge .
Day 10:
Breakfast. Guided tour to Buena Vista hanging bridges. V isitors can easily observe a wide variety of plants, animals, and even insects that are only found in the upper elevations of the forest canopy, all this from a safe and comfortable perspective which the bridges can offer. From these hanging bridges and connecting trails, enjoy and learn about the beauty and complexity of the forest. Overnight at Buena Vista Lodge.
Day 11:
Breakfast. Free day to take optional tours. Overnight at Buena Vista Lodge.
Day 12:
Breakfast. Private transfer to the "Carara National Park Area¨. Overnight at Villa Lapas . (lunch and dinner included).
Day 13:
Tour to Carara National Park , th is impressive transitional moist to dry forest and follow the trails to observe the variety of plants, amphibians, reptiles and birds such as the famous scarlet macaw. Crocodiles more than three meters long can be seen all along the Tárcoles River . Overnight at Villa Lapas . (all meals included).
Day 14:
Breakfast. Private transfer back to San Jose . Overnight at Parque del Lago hotel.
Day 15:
Breakfast. Departure transfer from your San Jose Hotel to the International Airport .
