Day01:
Arrival transfer from the international airport
to hotel. Overnight at Best Western Irazú hotel.
Day 02:
Breakfast.
Around 7:00pm Private transfer to San CarlosArea.
Overnight at Volcano Lodge Hotel. (3 hours
drive)
Day 03:
Breakfast. One day tour Rapids on the Sarapiqui
River. Row down the Sarapiqui River
and experience a trip of pure magic, exuberant
wildlife and exhilarating rapids. Along the
course you will be able to observe the dense
vegetation and the fauna characteristic of
the region, among which are monkeys, sloths,
and a great variety of birds. Includes breakfast
and lunch.
Overnight at Volcano Lodge Hotel.
Day 04:
Breakfast. Half day morning Bicycle ride:
For the adventurous who wish to explore a
part of the rain forest, the Arenal volcano
and lake, as well as a mountain road on bicycle,
this ride offers an excellent scenery. Observe
a large variety of birds, as well as howler
monkeys and red coati. This takes approximately
four hours. Includes transportation, assisting
vehicle, bicycles, snacks, drinks, water and
cookies.
Afternoon, transfer to Monteverde area by
boat and 4x4. Overnight at El Establo hotel.
Day 05:
Breakfast. In the morning Monteverde Cloud
Forest: Visit the private biological reserve
dedicated to the conservation of the flora
and fauna which exists in this complex ecosystem.
The reserve consists of 10,000 hectares and
serves as an important link in the growing
network of protected areas in the country.
In the afternoon, Sky walk and sky trek tours.
This is a system of hanging bridges, platforms
and trails that take you to observe the flora
and fauna from the forest canopy. Enjoy walking
the trails, the hanging bridges and sliding
from tree to tree from steel cables in a safe
and comfortable fashion, and at the same time
learning about the beauty and complexity of
the tropical forest. Overnight at El Establo
Hotel.
Day
06:
Breakfast. Shuttle bus transfer to the middle
Pacific Coast to Manuel Antonio area. Overnight
at Casitas Eclipse hotel.
Day 07:
Breakfast. Kayaking the Damas Island Estuary
tour: row in the tranquil waters of a magical
place to learn this sport and explore the
animal life of the coastal mangroves. An excellent
excursion for bird watching. Lunch included.
Overnight at Casitas Eclipsehotel.
Day 08:
Breakfast. Morning horseback riding in the
rain forest tour. Free afternoon. Overnight
at Casitas Eclipsehotel.
Day 09:
Breakfast. Free Morning. After noon, shuttle
bus transfer back to San Jose. Overnight at
Best Western Irazú Hotel.
Day 10:
Breakfast and transfer to the international
airport.
