Samara Treehouse Inn
These charming tropical hardwood units are situated amongst beautiful tropical gardens and surround an idyllic adults only pool and Jacuzzi with a shallow area for sun tanning partly submerged in the water.
All units, perfect for adult clientele of 1 or 2 persons per unit, offer a bedroom with ample closet and storage area, a fully equipped kitchen, a modern all ceramic bathroom and a living area with windows that open the entire front wall of the apartment to the ocean.
The oceanfront units are built on tree trunk stilts and also offer a shady open patio below with sink, BBQ and two hammocks that offer cool ocean breezes and incredible views of Samara Bay and Isla Chora, Samara’s own deserted Island.
The poolside unit is handicap accessible.
Each charming unit also offers cable TV, telephone, 24 hour security, secure, gated parking and a combination safe. In the common area is a reception area that doubles as a drink bar so you can enjoy natural fruit drinks, with or without alcohol, as you lounge by the pool. internet access is available at the reception area.
We prefer longer stays and only accept reservations for a minimum of two days. We aim at an adult clientele of one or two persons per unit. We do have a house next door that is also right on the beach, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, not at all fancy, that accommodates up to six people and kids are welcome. This house does not include room service, use of the hotel pool or breakfast. It is priced right however and the price is the same as a cabina in the hotel. No extra charge here for up to six persons.
Hotel Tree House
The Tree House is the ultimate southern Caribbean hideaway on the Atlantic coast located on the 10 acre ocean front property of the Green Iguana Foundation. Here in the heart of the Gandoca-Manzanillo wildlife refuge, you'll be part of nature with nobody else around but the sounds of nature.
Situated on the famous Punta Uva beach, just south of Puerto Viejo, considered to be one of Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches. Here you'll find total privacy, a natural tranquil atmosphere, and full relaxation, private beach access to 300 meter unspoiled pristine beach front, where you unlikely see anybody else during your stay at this romantic getaway.
Rooms Hotel Tree House
The Tree house is built on two levels
The levels connect to each other with adventurous steel cable bridges. The bathroom is in between massive air roots of the Sangrillo tree and in your kitchen you cook between the giants of the forest. To build the houses, no hardwood trees were cut. It took several month's work finding, cleaning and cutting the lumber, before the building started. Some of the Nispero trees were found in the Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife refuge and have been on the ground for more than 10 years. These woods are as hard as iron and sink in the water. They are pulled out of the jungle by oxen.
The Beach house sits on the ground
The Beach house is built the same way as the tree house. Both houses are hidden between tropical plants. The extended gardens are frequented by an array of exotic tropical birds. Here you'll also find over 50 different palm trees and one of the largest Heliconia collection in the area. In the morning, you shouldn't be surprised if you look out of your window and you see the howler monkeys around your house, if he didn't already wake you up earlier, because they won't hesitate to let you know they are awake. Some people say that they are the loudest animals on the planet.

Click to enlarge pictureEach tree house has a full interior bath with a shower and hot water; they are equipped with air conditioning and small refrigerators, the beds are very comfortable, the mattresses are brand new at this time; everything is maintained extremely clean.
" Each tree house has two levels, on the main level they all have a double bed, on the top level, a loft, two of the tree houses have two individual beds and one of the tree houses has a single bed. This second level is more appropriated for children or fit adventurous adults because the way to reach it is by way of a rustic ladder, please see picture of this Click to enlarge pictureladder in this page. If you have children the whole family will love the experience of them sleeping upstairs in the tree house where they will be close to you, under the same roof, but with privacy."
When necessary we can add mattresses to either level. All the tree houses have a porch at the main level where you can seat to relax and watch the scenery.
