Rappel, word that belongs to french, which means to join, to take. It was used at the begining for the jumping tecnic or to capture the injuries in the rocky walls.

Rappeling consists of descending from fixed ropes along ravines, canyon walls, waterfalls or bridges. Specialized equipment like static ropes, harnesses, rappel racks and carabiners are used during the activity. Costa Rica has many interesting jungle settings for rappeling.

The most important issue is security that's why the equipment used has a very high reistence.
