You can enjoy one day cruising to Tortuga Island or Punta Coral Island in the Pacific Ocean or you can organize sailing or cruising tours from Manuel Antonio in Quepos and from different places in Guanacaste, Depending on the location, you could have the opportunity to observe dolphins and different fishes and other marine species.

Cocos island
Cocos is a perfect place, almost beyond description, resting 375 miles off Costa Rica's Pacific coast. It rains a lot, over 22 feet a year. There are about 200 waterfalls on the island, and this real estate is only about 10 square miles in area. You can dive with huge schools of large sharks, enormous manta rays, turtles, porpoises, white-tip sharks, mantas, tuna and even whale sharks.
The highest point on the island is call “La Iglesia” - “church” or “cathedral”. It’s only 1300 feet above sea level, but that’s almost straight up through an incredible rain forest. The only mammalian life here are imported some deer, cats, rats, and wild pigs left here by the Spaniards.
Corcovado National Park
Its nature beauty and the rumours of hidden treasure have haunted this area for centuries, makes it a perfect place to visit.
It is comprised of 134,768 acres of pristine rain forest on the remote Osa Peninsula on the south-eastern coast. Its access is only possible by sea. The forests of Corcovado represent one of the most complex ecological systems on the planet, with many endemic species. Enormous buttressed tree trunks, draped with lianas and epiphytes, rise 150 to 250 feet from the forest floor.
Manuel Antonio National Park
Manuel Antonio National Park, famed for its abundant bird and wildlife. One of Costa Rica's smallest, at 1,685 acres national parks.
Manuel Antonio boasts beautiful coral-sand beaches. The islands of Manuel Antonio provide an important refuge, mating and nesting site for frigate birds, brown pelicans, brown boobies, white ibis and anhingas. Its flora and fauna includes three toed sloth, white-throated capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys and anteaters, as well as bare-throated tiger heron, orange chinned parakeet and the American pygmy kingfisher, the smallest kingfisher on the continent.
Punta Coral
Punta Coral Island is a 30- acre private reserve, nestled in some of the world’s last remaining tropical dry forest and is home for many species of wildlife;
Tortuga Island
Tortuga Island is one of the most famous Costa Rican islands, with immaculate white sand beach and turquoise waters, very inviting for a refreshing swim, kayaking or snorkeling
